What began as one family condo became a new standard for

Before it was a business, it was home.
In 1988, Brian and Marlene purchased a condo at Salty Sands on 46th Street. It became the setting for generations of family summers—days spent along the Atlantic and memories that made Ocean City feel less like a destination and more like home.
Years later, their son Andrew purchased another unit in the building as a rental. Like many homeowners, he encountered high commissions, inconsistent cleaning, limited communication, and a management experience that never felt personal.
His sons saw an opportunity to create something better: thoughtful care for homeowners, elevated stays for guests, and a company built by people who genuinely know and love the shore.
One unit was never the vision
After graduating from the University of Maryland, Zachary approached Andrew with a simple idea: rather than relying on a traditional management company, they would self-manage the family's vacation rental—and build something better.
In 2024, Zachary moved to Ocean City full-time with a vision that extended far beyond a single property. The goal was never to manage one vacation home. It was to create a hospitality company rooted in exceptional homeowner care, elevated guest experiences, and a genuine love for the Eastern Shore.
As the vision grew, so did the team. Alex joined after graduating from the University of Florida in 2025, bringing new momentum to the business. In 2026, Max joined while completing his hospitality degree online, making Ocean City Vacation Homes a company built not only by family, but around family.
That first home wasn't the destination—it was the proof of concept. Everything that followed was built from the belief that vacation rental management could feel more personal, more intentional, and more memorable.
What One Home Became
What began with a single family vacation rental has grown into a carefully curated collection of more than 200 homes across Ocean City, Maryland. In 2026, we expanded into Bethany Beach, Delaware, bringing the same hands-on approach, elevated standards, and locally rooted hospitality to another beloved coastal community.
For our family, this has never been about growing as quickly as possible. It's about growing thoughtfully. Every home we welcome into our portfolio reflects the same level of care we would expect for our own.
Ocean City has been part of our family's story since 1988. We grew up spending summers here, and today we're proud to call the Eastern Shore home year-round. That lifelong connection shapes everything we do—from the homes we represent to the experiences we create for both homeowners and guests.
